Ingredients
- 1 baguette or small French loaf
- 250 g (½ lb) ground beef
- 3–4 cloves garlic, minced
- 150 g (1½ cups) shredded mozzarella or cheddar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Cook the beef: Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until completely cooked through. Drain excess fat and stir in the minced garlic. Cook for another 1–2 minutes.
- Prepare the bread: Cut the baguette into bite-sized pieces and arrange them on a baking sheet.
- Top: Spoon a little beef mixture onto each bread piece and generously sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake for 8–12 minutes, until the bread is crisp and the cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Serve immediately while hot.
