Southern 4-Ingredient Bacon-Stuffed Celery

A classic Southern-style appetizer: crisp celery filled with a creamy, savory bacon mixture. Great for parties, holidays, or an easy snack.

Ingredients

  • 6–8 celery stalks
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Prepare the celery: Wash and dry the celery, then cut each stalk into 2–3-inch pieces.
  2. Make the filling: In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions until well combined.
  3. Stuff: Spoon or pipe the bacon mixture into the celery pieces.
  4. Chill and serve: Refrigerate for 20–30 minutes before serving for the best texture.

Southern tip: For extra flavor, fry the bacon until very crisp—the crunchy bits add a great contrast to the creamy filling.
