Honey Butter Skillet Corn

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups frozen corn kernels (or fresh if available)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or chives (optional, for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Corn:
    • If using frozen corn, thaw it by placing it in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Corn:
    • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the corn and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through and slightly golden in some areas.
  3. Add Honey and Seasonings:
    • Drizzle the honey over the corn and stir it in. Add salt, pepper, and smoked paprika (if using), then cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the honey to coat the corn and caramelize slightly.
  4. Serve:
    • Once the corn is nicely coated and heated through, remove it from the heat. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives, if desired.
